McNICHOLS Facilities Project Manager
- Oversee facilities management requests and vendor relationships across 20 locations, with the support of an administrative team.
- Serve as the technical resource for facility-related decisions to support routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve reliability, safety, and compliance with company standards or regulatory requirements.
- Provide guidance and technical support for projects involving HVAC, electrical, plumbing, roofing, fire protection, security systems, lighting, dock equipment and production machinery.
- Maintain facility drawings, floor plans, and equipment documentation.
- Lead facility expansion, renovation, relocation, and construction projects from concept through completion. Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and contractor specifications.
- Develop and maintain relationships with national and local service providers by negotiating contracts, monitoring performance, and reviewing cost to achieve optimal value.
- Serve a key member of the Safety Committee and directly oversee safety equipment, corrective actions, and projects to maintain a safe working environment.
- Manage facilities budgets and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Partner with senior leaders to establish and maintain emergency response procedures and business continuity plans related to facility operations.
- 5+ years of facilities project management experience in multi-site industrial, warehouse, or commercial facilities.
- Proven experience leading facility expansion, renovation, or construction projects.
- Strong vendor and contractor management experience.
- Experience managing capital and operating budgets.
- Strong understanding of warehouse equipment and building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and security systems.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience with facility management software.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations, building codes, and facility compliance requirements.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
- Ability to travel frequently between locations and serve as a hands-on technical resource as needed.
