Facilities Senior Technician
Job Description:
- Perform and assist with maintenance works on M&E systems, electrical installations, air-conditioning, plumbing, painting, carpentry, filtration and fire alarm systems across the Club premises.
- Check and inspect the Club's fixtures, fittings, sports facilities and common areas to ensure they remain safe and in good working condition for members and guests.
- Record and monitor utilities meter readings (gas, water and electricity) and flag unusual consumption.
- Maintain proper operating procedures for club equipment such as pumps, chillers, generators, electrical switchboards and the swimming pool filtration plant; carry out periodic tests on fire alarm panels.
- Prepare daily reports on maintenance activities, irregularities, equipment or property damage, and breakdown occurrences.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures during scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, minimizing disruption to Club operations and member activities.
- Liaise and coordinate with external contractors for routine servicing, emergency repairs and ad-hoc works.
- Maintain swimming pool water quality, including correct pH and chlorine levels, and keep pools free of organic matter through regular cleaning and filtration.
- Set up and operate audio-visual and event equipment (microphones, speakers, video screens, projectors, monitors, cabling and sound/mixing boards, etc.) for Club functions, sports events, member events, meetings and seminars.
- As a Senior Technician, you are to lead, guide and supervise a team of junior technicians, and support shift scheduling and on-the-job training.
Job Requirement:
- NITEC/ NTC 2-3 in Mechanical & Electrical Services or equivalent.
- 5 years' experience in building services maintenance or relevant facilities maintenance.
- Able to multitask and work independently.
- Able to perform shift work including weekends, public holidays and when required.
- Experienced in leading and supervising a team of technicians.
