Summary

Position Objective: Manage NIAID space, furniture, renovation, and relocation projects from requirements development through installation and closeout.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan and manage facility-related projects, including infrastructure, renovations, relocations, occupancy, workplace modernization, and closeout.
- Develop and maintain schedules, milestones, dependencies, action logs, budgets, estimates, and project documentation.
- Coordinate scientific, administrative, facilities, architecture/engineering, IT, vendor, and other stakeholders; facilitate and document meetings.
- Monitor project status, resources, risks, issues, scope, schedule, cost, quality, and performance; recommend mitigation and corrective action.
- Provide technical support for laboratory, clinical, animal research, data center, office, and other mission-critical environments while maintaining operational continuity.
- Prepare status reports, risk registers, change records, technical analyses, executive briefings, presentations, data-call responses, and closeout reports.
- Support CAD drawings, space planning studies, relocation plans, customer engagement, and decision-support products as assigned.
- Ensure deliverables are accurate, timely, professional, current, and compliant with Government requirements and applicable federal facility practices.
- Develop FF&E layouts, furniture specifications, technical drawings, estimates, procurement schedules, and installation plans.
- Perform site surveys and field verification and align solutions with codes, safety requirements, existing infrastructure, and workplace standards.
