Facilities Team Member
Summary
Maintains rides, buildings, and systems at an adventure park by performing inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general infrastructure.
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of facility equipment, attractions, and building systems to ensure a safe, clean, and fully operational environment for guests and employees. This position performs preventive maintenance, responds to maintenance requests, and assists with repairs involving electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical systems, and general building maintenance.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Complete preventive maintenance tasks according to scheduled PMs.
- Respond promptly to maintenance work orders and emergency repairs.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, mechanical, HVAC, and general building issues.
- Perform carpentry, painting, drywall, flooring, and minor construction repairs.
- Maintain and repair facility equipment and attractions.
- Inspect equipment daily for safety concerns and operational issues.
- Assist with conveyor systems, arcade equipment, inflatables, climbing attractions, and other guest attractions as needed.
- Perform routine inspections of lighting, doors, gates, restrooms, and common areas.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records using the company CMMS (MaintainX or similar).
- Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors during repairs and projects.
- Follow OSHA regulations and company safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop.
- Participate in on-call or after-hours emergency response when required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
