Summary

Performs hands-on building and grounds maintenance, handling repairs, cleaning, and upkeep to keep the facility safe and presentable for clients.

Position Summary;

The Facilities Tech handles as much work as possible in-house, keeping both the building and the grounds in solid shape. This role takes care of repairs, upkeep, and day-to-day issues without using outside contractors whenever possible. From the roof to the parking lot, the job is to keep the place safe, clean, and running the way it should. Bottom line: see it, fix it, and keep the property ready for visits from current and potential clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

General Maintenance:

  • Complete routine and preventative maintenance on all building equipment as assigned.
  • Replace filters and perform minor maintenance HVAC, air compressors and systems.
  • Patch and paint interior walls as needed.
  • Maintain and repair doors and windows.
  • Install floor tiles.
  • Build interior walls according to code as needed.
  • Repair/replace all restroom fixtures. ( toilets, urinals, soap and paper dispensers, lights, stall dividers )

General Cleaning:

  • Dust walls, doors, and surfaces.
  • Remove trash and recyclables.
  • Sweep and clean floors.
  • Power wash spray booth floor grates.

Grounds Maintenance:

  • Remove snow, litter, and debris from sidewalks and parking areas as needed.
  • Empty and clean ash cans and outdoor waste containers.

Tools and Equipment Used:

  • Must own a basic set of tools in accordance with the Prefix check list.
  • Forklifts (for material movement and access).
  • Floor polishers and buffers.
  • Man lifts (for high-access cleaning and maintenance).
  • Pressure washers.
  • General cleaning tools and supplies (brooms, mops, vacuums
