Facility Engineer 1
Main Responsibilities:
-Coordinate maintenance schedule and follow up for the execution to minimize the downtime.
- Support in conducting maintenance cost as a proportion of Asset Replacement Value to support the decision whether orreplace/repair and when the asset should be replaced.
- Support in complying occupational health and safety standards.
- Perform facility inspections and report on conditions affecting operations.
- Prepare weekly reports to be shared with management.
- Create and oversee Maintenance requests in ERP system.
- Manage the Projects assets upload in the ERP system.
- Ensure prompt resolution of potential hazards through reporting about practices if unsafe or adversely impacting environment.
- Support in planning, implementing and facilities equipment maintenance program with superior.
- Support facilities engineering and technically assist plant in areas of installation, startup, repair, training and modification on power transmission.
- Maintain confidentiality in all matters related to work and information.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or any related field
- Relevant Professional Certification (PMP, etc.) is preferred
Experience & Skills:
-2+ years of experience in a relevant role
- Professional in English required, fluency in Arabic is a must
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal); open to working in a multicultural environment
- Knowledge of the functions and operations of major electrical & mechanical equipment.
-Knowledge of the engineering principles and practices of the facility's engineering service.
- Knowledge of modern materials, methods, and techniques of design, construction, installation, and maintenance of structures and facilities.
