The Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving KDM's facility infrastructure, building systems, and grounds to ensure a safe, efficient, and professional work environment. This position supports the day-to-day operation of the facility by performing preventative maintenance, responding to repair requests, coordinating building upkeep, and assisting with facility improvement projects.
The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, resourceful, and experienced in maintaining commercial, industrial, or manufacturing facilities.

- Safety & Building Compliance Support
- Vendor, Contractor & Service Coordination
- Facility Improvement Projects
- Maintenance Documentation & Recordkeeping
LOCATION
This is a full-time, in-office position based in the Cincinnati, Ohio area.
IN OFFICE POSITION
No Remote / No Hybrid
COMPENSATION
Starting at $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated expertise.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of facility, building, maintenance, construction, property maintenance, or related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience performing preventative maintenance and facility repairs.
- General knowledge of building systems and maintenance practices.
- Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and maintenance requests.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work including walking, climbing, bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
Preferred
- Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environment.
- Experience with facility systems including HVAC, plumbing, lighting, electrical, and general building maintenance.
- Knowledge of fire protection, safety, and building compliance requirements.
- Landscaping, grounds maintenance, snow removal, or exterior property maintenance experience.
- Experience coordinating outside vendors and service contractors.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
- Basic electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, or carpentry skills.
