Facility Manager (Mechanical)

Job Description

• Support the Senior Manager in managing customer accounts and the day-to-day operations of the FM team.

• Assist the Senior Manager and be involved in FM team management, vendor management, budget planning, outsourcing, tendering, and awarding of contracts.

• Support the Senior Manager in coaching and mentoring the facilities team, as well as implementing and continuously improving the team’s emergency response and business continuity programs.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, guidelines, and local authorities’ requirements.

• Train FM team employees and administer policies, procedures, and standards to ensure our employees and vendors possess the required technical expertise, interpersonal skills, and morale to meet and exceed client expectations.

• Manage existing client data center enhancement and modification projects.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Building Services, or related disciplines.

• Familiarity with mechanical systems.

• Technical knowledge of data centers.

• Strong communication, leadership, and supervisory skills.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, initiative, and a strong sense of responsibility.

• Good problem-solving skills.
