Job Summary
The Facility Officer is responsible for the daily operation, maintenance, safety, and cleanliness of the condominium's common property and facilities. The role ensures that building systems are functioning efficiently, contractors perform work according to standards, and residents receive prompt assistance with facility related matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily inspections of common areas, building facilities, and equipment.
- Monitor and coordinate maintenance works for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, lifts, lighting, and other building systems.
- Attend to residents feedback and facility related complaints promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate and supervise contractors, vendors, and service providers to ensure work is completed safely and according to schedule.
- Monitor the condition of common property and recommend repair or replacement when necessary.
- Report equipment faults and emergencies to the Property/Condominium Manager
- Assist in emergency situations such as power failures, water leaks, fire alarms, or lift breakdowns.
- Ensure all facilities remain clean, safe, and operational during the assigned shift.
- Perform any other duties assigned by Management.
Requirements
- Diploma or equivalent qualification in Facilities Management, Business Management , Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in condominium, hotel , resort or residential property management is a plus.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willing to work 6 days per week, from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM, including weekends and public holidays on a rotating schedule when required.
