Facility Operations Specialist

About the Position: This position is located in Alexandria, VA. This position is not covered by a bargaining unit. .

Provide guidance in terms of general policies and broad goals and specific objectives to be achieved

Keep senior leadership apprised of program status

Make recommendation and/or implement improvements as needed.

Oversee management of the facilities database to ensure availability and accuracy of facilities data to include facilities condition ratings, floor plans and facility usage

Support organization leadership and regional offices in determining operating and maintenance requirements, accomplishing programs, and evaluating program effectiveness through inspections, budget controls, and management improvement studies

Provide guidance and advice on resource allocation to organization leadership to support preventive and demand maintenance

Coordinate actions with three geographically separated regional offices and serves as the primary fact finder and analyst for a broad range of issues.

Participate in periodic review and analysis meetings to address existing and proposed work.
