Facility Operations Specialist

About the Position: This position is located at Los Angeles Air Force Base in California. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Conducts investigations, evaluates of reports, and analyzes departmental safety programs and all healthcare facility related accidents and incidents.

Provides safety orientation to new personnel and continuing education to health care staff.

Executes and maintains the departmental safety program and provides training, guidance, and direction to the section safety monitors.

Supports institutional preparation for emergency and disaster response by developing plans for building, equipment, and utility response and recovery.

Assigns routine requests to appropriate specialties for action.

Coordinates work scheduling, utility outages, etc. with specialized contractors and vendors.
