Facility Technician
You maintain and repair pumps, motors, fans, pipelines, valves, cooling systems, and other facility infrastructure. You inspect water systems, control water quality, respond to equipment failures, operate forklifts and motor vehicles, transfer materials, and support site safety and maintenance activities.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair circulating water pumps, spray pumps, motors, cooling fans, and pipeline networks
- Troubleshoot equipment faults and perform emergency repairs
- Execute equipment maintenance plans and maintain maintenance ledgers
- Inspect cooling towers, elevated water tanks, and circulating water systems
- Control water quality, chemical dosing, water consumption, flow, pressure, and temperature
- Inspect and repair cooling water, water supply, and drainage networks
- Maintain auxiliary facility equipment and site drainage
- Inspect and rectify public-facility hazards
- Transfer materials within the plant
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts
- Inspect, maintain, and safely operate forklifts
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above
- Mechanical and electrical engineering knowledge
- Refrigeration knowledge
- Water supply and drainage knowledge
- Equipment maintenance experience
- Water pump, motor, fan, pipeline, valve, bearing, and sealing-part maintenance
- Cooling tower and circulating water system operation
- Water quality control
- Forklift operation
- Motor vehicle driving
- Shift and emergency repair availability
- Written record-keeping
- Data statistics
- English technical-document comprehension
- English communication
