Facility Warehouse Specialist

Job Purpose

To ensure accurate and efficient inventory management by monitoring stock levels, maintaining inventory records, conducting cycle counts, and supporting inventory-related processes to prevent discrepancies and support manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Inventory Monitoring & Management

  • Track and record inventory levels across general supplies.
  • Ensure that inventory is properly stored, labeled, and organized according to company standards .
  • Monitor slow-moving, expired, or obsolete stock and report to the Inventory Supervisor.

2. Cycle Counting & Auditing

  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks in coordination with the warehouse team.
  • Identify and investigate discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
  • Support periodic internal and external audits, ensuring proper documentation and resolution of issues.

3. Inventory Transactions & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate records of goods received, transferred, consumed, or returned.
  • Ensure all transactions are recorded timely in the ERP or inventory management system .
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports .

4. Coordination & Communication

  • Assist in planning stock replenishment based on forecasts and consumption trends.
  • Escalate urgent shortages or stock irregularities.

5. System & Compliance

  • Operate inventory systems efficiently and support continuous improvement of stock control processes.
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs, and regulatory standards in all inventory activities.
  • Participate in system upgrades or implementation of new inventory tools.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 24 years in inventory management, preferably in the GS, manufacturing.
  • Systems: Experience using ERP systems like SAP.

Skills & Competencies

  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good organizational and record-keeping ability
  • Knowledge of inventory KPIs and lean stock principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory software
