Factory Manager

Arabian Explosives (AREX), a leading manufacturer of commercial explosives, is seeking an experienced Factory Manager to lead our production operations and support the next phase of our growth.
This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of our manufacturing facilities, including ANFO, detonator, and emulsion production lines, while supporting significant expansion and technology projects.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead all factory operations to achieve production, safety, quality, and cost objectives
• Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with explosives regulations and company standards
• Manage multi-disciplinary production teams across manufacturing and support functions
• Lead capital projects, plant upgrades, and operational improvement initiatives
• Develop operational KPIs and drive continuous improvement across the business
• Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, regulators, and internal stakeholders
What We Are Looking For
• Degree qualified in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline
• Significant leadership experience within explosives, mining, chemical, manufacturing, or heavy industrial environments
• Demonstrated success managing complex production operations and high-hazard facilities
• Strong commercial awareness and operational leadership capability
• Experience leading large teams and delivering business improvement initiatives
