Factory Production Supervisor
Key Responsibilities:
Production Oversight:
Supervise daily production activities on the factory floor to ensure smooth and timely operations
Assign tasks to machine operators, technicians, and laborers, and ensure adherence to schedules
Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot minor issues with technical teams
Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machines, and materials
Quality Control & Compliance:
Monitor production quality and ensure all output meets company standards and customer requirements
Enforce adherence to ISO, safety, and factory compliance standards
Work closely with the Quality Control team to resolve any defects or process issues
Team Supervision & Coordination:
Lead, train, and motivate factory workers to meet productivity and quality goals
Monitor staff performance and report issues to Production Manager
Conduct daily briefings and provide regular feedback to the team
Process Improvement:
Recommend and implement improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve workflow
Maintain accurate records of production output, downtime, and material usage
Assist in planning and implementing preventive maintenance schedules
Health, Safety & Housekeeping:
Ensure compliance with factory safety policies and PPE requirements
Report and address safety incidents or potential hazards immediately
Maintain cleanliness and order on the production floor
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word); ERP systems knowledge is an advantage
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
3–5 years of experience in a similar supervisory role within a manufacturing or fabrication facility (preferably aluminium/glass industry)
Strong knowledge of production processes, materials handling, and safety standards
Good leadership and team management skills
Basic knowledge of machine operations and preventive maintenance
Strong communication skills in English (Hindi/Urdu is a plus)
