Failure Analysis Engineer
Summary
Diagnose failed semiconductor equipment, identify root causes, and work with teams to implement fixes and improve repair processes.
We are looking for Engineers to manage technical evaluations, root-cause failure analysis (FA), and engineering support for returned semiconductor equipment.
Job Description:
Failure Analysis: Diagnose returned products to identify root causes of component or system failures.
Reporting: Generate detailed technical reports detailing defect trends and failure mechanisms.
Corrective Action: Collaborate with manufacturing and design teams to implement CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions).
Vendor Management: Coordinate with suppliers regarding defective components and warranty claims.
Process Improvement: Refine testing procedures and documentation to optimize the repair and return cycle.
Requirements:
- Entry level are welcomed to apply , OJT will be provided.
- Higher NITEC or NITEC in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics, Computer engineering or related field.
- Experience in product testing, quality assurance, or hardware failure analysis is an added advantage.
- Proficiency with basic diagnostic tools (oscilloscopes, multimeters), schematics, and RMA tracking software (if any).
- Able to work in a cross functional team with great communication skill.
