Fall Internship- CCS Respite (Master level)

At BHN’s CCS Respite in Westfield, you’ll gain hands-on experience while receiving top-notch training, supervision, and mentorship.
Schedule: 7:00am-3:30pm Mon-Fri (2 shifts per week 8-hour shifts)
What You’ll Do:
As a Master level Intern, you will learn the necessary skills required to understand the job of a counselor, while meeting the needs of person's served at CCS/Respite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate competency in the utilization of the agency's technological systems
- Assess treatment needs, develop and implement treatment plans and assess treatment progress for clients on the crisis stabilization unit
- Participates in required supervision and trainings
- Ability to relate, establish support with psychiatric clients, family members and service providers
- Learn about BHN and program goals in supporting our mission and programs

What You’ll Bring:
- Graduate student from a clinical masters program
- Experience working in the mental health field (preferred)
- Experience with documentation skills and detail oriented (required)
- Motivation to work in the mental health field(required)
