BHN is currently seeking a FIT Clinician to join our Family Based Intensive Treatment program under the Community Service Agency. providing intensive, community-based family therapy and stabilization services.

What You’ll Do

As a FIT Clinician, you will provide intensive family therapy and stabilization services to youth with Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED) and their families in home and community settings in collaboration with the outreach worker and family partner.

  • Team Provides 3–5 weekly sessions of family therapy and support, as clinically indicated
  • Complete comprehensive assessments including CANS, CRAFFT (12+), diagnostic evaluations, and SED determinations
  • Co-Facilitate team meetings with families, youth, and providers to review and update treatment plans
  • Develop individualized treatment plans that highlight strengths, needs, goals, and interventions
  • Conduct safety planning and risk management at intake and throughout treatment
  • Partner with FIT Family Partners and Outreach Workers to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Collaborate with schools, providers, and community resources to coordinate services
  • Support transitions to community-based treatment and services after FIT discharge
  • Provide after-hours phone support and participate in on-call rotation

Who You Are

  • Master’s degree in a mental health-related field and license-eligible in MA, or Master’s in related field with at least 2 years of experience working with children with emotional and behavioral needs
  • CANS-MA certification required (or ability to obtain upon hire)
  • Knowledge of Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED), treatment techniques, and child-serving systems
  • Familiarity with behavioral modification, crisis intervention, and family systems approaches
  • Experience providing family-centered interventions and utilizing family therapy strategies to engage and support youth, caregivers, and the family system.
  • Demonstrate the ability to lead and support a multidisciplinary team by providing clinical guidance, fostering collaboration, and promoting accountability while working independently and exercising sound professional judgment in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational, facilitation, and communication skills
  • Cultural competence and ability to work with diverse populations
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

Pay: $69,000- $72,363.20
