In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.

Scope of Work

  1. Review, analyze, and annotate legal documents and case files related to family law, providing expert insights and identifying key issues and outcomes.
  2. Conduct in-depth legal research on family law matters, statutes, and precedent cases to support the development of robust AI training datasets.
  3. Draft clear, accurate summaries and legal analyses, distilling complex concepts for integration into AI models.
  4. Evaluate and critique legal arguments, pleadings, and briefs, highlighting strengths, weaknesses, and important nuances.
  5. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team using digital project management tools, providing feedback and sharing best practices in remote environments.
  6. Maintain meticulous attention to detail in document review, annotation, and report creation, ensuring factual and legal accuracy.
  7. Adapt to evolving project tools and methodologies, delivering high-quality contributions on time and according to project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Significant experience practicing family law at a prominent BigLaw firm, with deep subject matter expertise across divorce, custody, support, and related matters.
  2. Exceptional legal research, writing, and case analysis abilities, demonstrated through sophisticated, real-world legal work.
  3. Proven experience with document review, annotation, and legal summarization in high-stakes or complex environments.
  4. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain intricate legal principles in accessible terms.
  5. Outstanding critical thinking, organizational, and time-management capabilities for handling multiple assignments in a digital workspace.
  6. Comfort and adaptability with technology, remote collaboration, and digital project management tools.
  7. Track record of contributing fresh perspectives and insights, and a collaborative approach to legal problem-solving.
