Location
Sacramento, CA — On-site, with an opportunity to work closely with an experienced family law team in person.

Must have an active California Bar license. Family law experience is preferred but is a soft-screen qualification; attorneys with 0 to 5 years of relevant family law experience are encouraged to apply.

Job Description
- Represent clients in family law matters involving divorce, legal separation, child custody, child support, spousal support, and property division.
- Develop case strategies tailored to each client's goals and circumstances.
- Draft pleadings, motions, agreements, correspondence, and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and prepare for hearings, negotiations, mediations, and litigation.
- Communicate directly with clients and provide clear, practical legal guidance throughout their matters.
- Participate in settlement negotiations and, when appropriate, collaborative divorce and mediation processes.
- Manage assigned cases efficiently while maintaining high standards of legal work and client service.
- Collaborate with attorneys and legal professionals to move matters forward effectively.
Qualifications
- Active California Bar license in good standing.
- 0 to 5 years of family law experience.
- Strong legal research, writing, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a client-focused environment.
- Genuine interest in developing a career in family law.
- Litigation, mediation, or collaborative divorce experience is a plus.
