Must have an active California Bar license. Family law experience is preferred but is a soft-screen qualification; attorneys with 0 to 5 years of relevant family law experience are encouraged to apply.

Job Description

  • Represent clients in family law matters involving divorce, legal separation, child custody, child support, spousal support, and property division.
  • Develop case strategies tailored to each client's goals and circumstances.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, agreements, correspondence, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare for hearings, negotiations, mediations, and litigation.
  • Communicate directly with clients and provide clear, practical legal guidance throughout their matters.
  • Participate in settlement negotiations and, when appropriate, collaborative divorce and mediation processes.
  • Manage assigned cases efficiently while maintaining high standards of legal work and client service.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and legal professionals to move matters forward effectively.

Qualifications

  • Active California Bar license in good standing.
  • 0 to 5 years of family law experience.
  • Strong legal research, writing, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a client-focused environment.
  • Genuine interest in developing a career in family law.
  • Litigation, mediation, or collaborative divorce experience is a plus.
