Job Description

Vision Quest Solutions is seeking qualified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physicians for an anticipated opportunity supporting the Uintah and Ouray Service Unit, Indian Health Service, in Fort Duchesne, Utah.

Physicians will provide comprehensive outpatient primary care with some pediatric care, supporting the health and well-being of the community.

Responsibilities include:

• Evaluate and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Provide preventive care, health screenings, and patient education.
• Provide some pediatric care within the physician’s specialty and granted clinical privileges.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and coordinate specialty referrals.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Government-furnished electronic health record.
• Collaborate with nurses, specialists, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to support continuity of care.
• Follow IHS policies, facility procedures, patient safety standards, and confidentiality requirements.
