This job location is currently located in a Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs) and/or Medically Underserved Areas/Populations (MUA/P) Shortage Designation Type.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated, rural focused Family Medicine Physician (OB optional) or Internal Medicine Physician to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.

• Call structure: Own call during the week, Hospital call: Adult PRN, Peds 1:3 weekends
• Practice setting: Outpatient
• Employed position within a nonprofit health system
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
• Deliver comprehensive, patient-centered medical services, upholding the highest safety standards to achieve superior health outcomes for every individual.
• Conduct expert clinical assessments and thorough physical examinations to ensure rapid, accurate diagnosis and the foundation for effective treatment plans.
• Mentor and guide the next generation of clinicians by teaching medical students and residents, contributing to a culture of continuous clinical excellence.
• Perform minor in-office procedures, such as punch biopsies and lesion removal, to provide comprehensive and streamlined care within the practice setting.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
