Family Support Specialist (69766)

The Family Support Specialist provides coordinated support services that strengthen family well-being, promote engagement, and connect families with resources to help them achieve their goals. This position builds and maintains positive professional relationships with families, assesses strengths and needs, and facilitates access to community services and support networks.

Principal Activities

• Coordinate and integrate family support services.
• Research and link families to community services as needed and/or desired.
• Plan and coordinate activities designed to support parent engagement, involvement and leadership.
• Identify family strengths and goals; providing support and resources to maximize family success.
• Attend required events and activities assigned.
• Build and sustain healthy, trusting and professional relationships with families.
• Other duties as assigned.
