Parkland C.L.A.S.S. is a family based organization, focused on increasing the quality of life for children and adults with developmental disabilities through individual choice, dignity and rights since 1963. We support over 400 Individuals in Central Alberta.
Required Duties: Bathing, Community Outings - daily, Feeding, Incontinence Support, Lifting <11 lbs, Medication Administration, Personal Hygiene, Toileting Support, follow an Individual program plan to achieve goals, work independently within the family home, providing one-on-one support.
Experience with Autism, Non-Verbal Communication, Visual Strategies, ADHD, use of alternative communication device, group home setting expereince
Wage: $18.60 - $19.95 per hour
The Requirements: Completed Grade 12, Acceptable Police Information Check & Child Intervention Check, Driver's License, Must Provide Own Vehicle
Hours of work: Monday - Friday 3pm-8pm; School closure days & Spring & Summer & Winter break hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am-5:30pm
