This hands-on role works closely with our technical design, sales, and operations teams. The ideal candidate brings a strong fashion eye, practical Adobe skills, and experience using AI to improve creative work and inform design and merchandising decisions.
Responsibilities
- Design dresses and sportswear, including seasonal concepts, sketches, CADs, and coordinated capsules for retail partners.
- Prepare design details and specifications for factories in collaboration with technical design.
- Research trends, review sales results and buyer feedback, and recommend silhouettes, fabrics, colors, and prints.
- Use AI tools to explore design variations, support research, visualize concepts, and develop more informed product recommendations.
- Participate in fabric selection, print and color approvals, fittings, and sample reviews.
-
Attend and help coordinate photo shoots, including sample preparation, styling, shot lists, and checking that garment details are captured accurately.
-
Handle product imagery, including image selection, retouching, color correction, cropping, resizing, file naming, and organizing final assets.
- Prepare imagery for our website, retail partners, line sheets, and sales presentations according to each channel’s requirements.
- Build attractive buyer presentations and curated assortments from both new collections and existing inventory.
- Work across departments to manage samples, assets, revisions, and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in women’s apparel design, with a portfolio showing relevant work.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, including CAD creation and photo editing.
- A strong eye for styling, proportion, color, print, and visual presentation.
- Familiarity with garment construction, fabrics, fit, and designing to target costs.
- Practical experience using AI tools in a design or creative workflow.
- Ability to translate sales information and customer or buyer feedback into product ideas.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and willingness to handle both creative work and day-to-day execution.
- A collaborative approach and comfort working on a small team.
Experience with dresses, sportswear, ecommerce imagery, or department store and off-price accounts is a plus.
