Fashion Designer

Summary

Designs woven casual clothing styles, researches trends, and collaborates with teams to develop products from concept to pre-production samples.

Location: Hong Kong, Hong Kong, Hong Kong

Workplace: on_site

Independently developing and designing the woven casual styles base on the brand aesthetics
Conduct research on global retail trends for product development
Generate concepts & design of colors, materials and finishes on products
Provide support in documentation and presentation preparation for meetings with internal or external parties
coordinate with Design team in completing the whole process of the development from themes and concept, presentation of styling, sketches, fitting session until pre-production sample
Work closely with merchandising/ PD/ Marketing teams and factories to facilitate development processes and schedules from product development, sourcing of trims, sample fitting, etc.
Take on ad hoc assignments or projects as required.

Diploma or above in Fashion Design, Textile & Clothing, or related discipline
2-3 years of fashion design or product development experience is preferred
With a strong sense of fashion trends, new materials, fabric, and accessories
Basic fabric knowledge and strong aesthetic sense is required
Independent, good time management and planning & positive mindset
Proactive and result driven, with good good presentation and communication skills
Occasional business travel as required
