We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fashion and Garment Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing the production of high-quality garments from concept to final product.
Key Responsibilities
Develop original fashion designs and garment concepts based on current market trends and client requirements.
Create detailed technical drawings, specifications, and garment construction guidelines.
Select suitable fabrics, materials, colours, trims, and other components for each design.
Conduct garment fittings and make necessary adjustments to ensure proper fit, structure, and overall quality.
Work closely with tailors, pattern makers, and production teams to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
Oversee the complete design and production process, from initial concept and pattern development to sampling and final production.
Ensure all garments meet professional tailoring standards and quality control requirements.
Maintain accurate documentation of design specifications, samples, and production processes.
Preferred Skills
Experience in custom-made garments, haute couture, or bespoke tailoring is preferred.
Strong knowledge of international fashion trends, fabrics, and fabric sourcing.
