FDOT Survey Project Manager
POSITION SUMMARY
The FDOT Survey Project Manager will provide overall management and direction for FDOT projects. Responsibilities include customer interface, client development, project scoping, scheduling, procurement, cost and progress monitoring, management, and reporting.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Coordinates the survey data coming in from crews in the field, and data being relayed from the office to crews in the field.

Continue to develop more productive FDOT Software drafting processes and standards within the survey department.

Utilizes Florida Department of Transportation and company standards and follows instruction per direction from Management.

Provides basic training and guidance to FDOT Survey and Mapping staff.

Performs quality control on deliverables and provides continuous improvement input.

Manage the coordination of project drawing and model files, file properties and symbology per FDOT and company standards.

Support technicians in every aspect of the project delivery process to Project Managers.

Support and troubleshoot questions and concerns of all users in both a group and one-on-one environment.

Provide ideas that support the company’s FDOT capabilities, processes, and standards.

Serve as a mentor to office staff and FDOT technicians.

Train technicians on FDOT and company mapping standards.

Plan, prioritize and organize effectively; and the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all staff and clients.

Organize, multi-task, prioritize and re-prioritize daily workload and work with minimum supervision and the ability to meet deadlines, establish deadlines, and to prioritize deadlines.

Collect, organize, disseminate, and analyze significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

May perform light office duties including but not limited to filing, making copies, and scanning.

May carry out other duties as assigned by management.
