Position Title: Federal Sales Support Manager


Job Summary:

The Federal Sales Support Manager serves as a critical operational partner to V3Gate's Federal Account Teams, helping drive execution across complex customer opportunities, quotes, orders, contracts, and large-scale technology deployments. This individual will work closely with Account Managers, customers, OEM partners, distributors, project management, and internal operations to ensure exceptional execution throughout the sales and delivery lifecycle.


The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, customer-focused, and comfortable taking ownership in a fast-paced federal sales environment. This person should develop a deep understanding of assigned accounts and become a trusted extension of the Account Manager, capable of independently driving operational activities and customer communication when needed.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Essential Duties:

  • Provide operational assistance to account managers, and field sales with quote creation, opportunity tracking, pipeline/forecasting and order processing.
  • Ensure all government, customer and seller requirements are followed on orders (DPAS ratings, due dates, contract requirements for purchasing and SLA’s)
  • Works closely with appropriate Services and Project Management team(s) on large projects.
  • Responsible for order management coordination on customer rollouts.
  • Provide consistent status updates for orders, quotes, or other requests to sales coworkers.
  • Proactive interaction with customers to provide order status updates, quotes or other requests as needed to provide exception customer outcomes.
  • Prepare and distribute product configurations and customer quotes utilizing online tools and V3Gate resources.
  • Promptly process orders through V3Gate tool.
  • Ensure all started tasks are seen through to completion.
  • Train and mentor new and existing coworkers.
  • Have advanced understanding and maintain in-depth knowledge of relevant products, contracts, or business segment requirements.
  • Leverage/seek internal and external training opportunities to continually develop product knowledge and sales skills.
  • Complete Partner Product accreditation to further advance skillsets in solutions and services sales.
  • Build trusted customer relations so you can be second in command when the Account Manager or Account Manager Team(s) is out of the office or traveling.
  • Proactively provide pertinent information to client(s) and account manager (s).
  • Develop good working relationships with internal departments.
  • Work alongside sales and operational teams to verify, track and manage pipeline opportunities
  • Work alongside sales and proposals/contracts teams to review RFQ and RFI submissions for accuracy and compliance.
  • Have a high sense of urgency to go above and beyond; to provide an exceptional customer experience.
