micro1 is engaging Federal Staff Reporting Analyst Experts to contribute to a dynamic project. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.


Scope of Work


  1. Create, review, and refine authentic federal reporting artifacts such as Weekly Action Reports (WARs), Situation Reports (SITREPs), after-action summaries, and executive briefings, based on provided prompts and documentation.
  2. Develop high-quality, clear written responses and summaries that reflect the nuanced styles and standards of federal and military reporting practices.
  3. Evaluate and grade sample project submissions, utilizing detailed grading guidelines to assess clarity, accuracy, compliance, and adherence to reporting conventions.
  4. Contribute input artifacts and golden reference responses for a variety of status, activity, and compliance report types often used across federal agencies and military branches.
  5. Support the creation of guidelines, criteria, and evaluative rubrics for training AI models in federal report generation and staff writing.
  6. Consult on task design and requirements, lending insights from specialized reporting experience to improve project outputs.
  7. Participate in feedback cycles to ensure deliverables consistently meet evolving project and client standards.


Preferred Qualifications


  1. Prior experience as a federal professional in the US Department of War/Defense, with a minimum of 3 years engaged in federal reporting or staff writing functions.
  2. Demonstrated expertise producing templated reports, such as WARs, MARs, SITREPs, after-action reports, executive summaries, and similar documents.
  3. Background with one or more branches of the US military; a diverse range of experiences across branches and positions is especially valued.
  4. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to clarity, tone, and compliance with federal style guides.
  5. Experience using Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) in producing official reports, memos, and presentations.
  6. Ability to articulate reporting methodology and provide feedback for training and assessment purposes.
  7. Based in the United States with a proven track record of confidential and compliant report handling in a federal or military context.
