Are you mechanically inclined and looking to start a rewarding career in agriculture? We are seeking a motivated Feed Mill Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for helping maintain feed manufacturing equipment and ensuring safe, efficient mill operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on feed mill equipment
- Assist with troubleshooting and repairing conveyors, motors, augers, mixers, and related systems
- Complete basic welding, fabrication, and equipment repairs as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Respond to maintenance issues to minimize production downtime
- Follow all safety, biosecurity, and company procedures
- Work closely with mill operators and management to support daily operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Farm, feed mill, manufacturing, or maintenance experience is a plus but not required
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude
