Feline Caregiver

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a compassionate Feline Caregiver to provide essential care and support to the homeless cats and kittens in our open admission animal shelter. As a Feline Caregiver, you will provide the daily care needed for our cats to thrive! You must be able to work both weekend days!

**Duties:**
-Provide food and water to cats
-Clean cat cages, litterboxes, and toys
-Monitor cats for signs of illness or injury and report findings to our medical team
-Maintain an extremely clean and disinfected hospital-like environment to prevent the spread of disease between cats
-Provide various forms of enrichment for our cats and kittens to keep them mentally stimulated while they are in the shelter environment

**Skills:**
-Ability to safely handle cats
-Understanding of cat body language
-Love of cats
-Detail-oriented and methodical cleaning skills
-Reliability and punctuality
