Fenelon Falls Utility II

We are looking for a reliable and safety‑focused Yard Operations Technician (Utility II) to support daily yard, inventory, and cylinder operations at our Sudbury location. This is a hands‑on, physically demanding role suited for individuals with labor, yard, or industrial experience who are comfortable working outdoors year‑round.

The Utility II plays an important role in maintaining a safe, organized, and professional yard, supporting propane cylinder preparation, inventory control, and assisting drivers and service technicians.

What you'll do:

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard, including proper storage of tanks and assets
Fill, paint, and prepare cylinders and tanks for customer installations
Perform general yard, equipment, and facility maintenance
Identify and address safety concerns immediately, reporting issues to the Field Operations Manager when required
Manage inventory, including asset tracking, shipping and receiving, and unloading rail cars
Assist delivery drivers and service technicians with inventory and vehicle support
Respond to basic customer inquiries at the yard location and redirect as needed
Complete light administrative duties such as invoicing and filing
Perform other assigned duties to support yard and field operations
Cylinder propane as needed.

What you bring:

Minimum of one (1) year or less experience.
Valid driver’s license with a clean drivers abstract is an asset.
Prior experience in a labor role is an asset.
Ability to repetitively lift 60 lbs on a regular basis
Knowledge of propane and propane handling is an asset.
Physically fit to lift and move heavy equipment.
Good computer skills to enter and manage inventory.

Salary: $24 hourly (based on skills, experience, qualifications, and geography).
