Fertilizer & Digestate Product Manager
NewBe an early applicantPURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Convert digestate and biochar into standardised, agronomically useful and commercially validated fertiliser and soil-improvement products.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Evaluate digestate separation, concentration, drying and granulation options.
· Develop biochar + digestate blends.
· Lead NPK/nutrient analysis and agronomic field trials.
· Define product quality, registration and packaging requirements.
· Optimise own-use versus local-market sales.
· Integrate nutrient mass balance into the agriculture programme.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CAPABILITY
· Experience in fertilisers, digestate, agronomy, biomass or organic soil-improvement products.
· Product-development and pilot experience.
· Understanding of nutrient analysis and agronomic performance.
· Practical commercialisation mindset.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
· Fertiliser-granulation experience.
· Tropical-agriculture experience.
· Knowledge of biochar-blended products.
KEY SUCCESS MEASURES
· Agronomically validated product formulations.
· Consistent product quality and registration readiness.
· Reduced purchased-fertiliser cost and/or validated local sales
RECRUITMENT PRINCIPLE We are looking first and foremost for hands-on implementers with a proven record of taking real industrial or infrastructure projects from planning through procurement, construction, commissioning and operation.
The roles are part of an international renewable-energy, circular-economy, biorefining and industrial side-stream utilisation investment programme with Côte dIvoire as the principal implementation country. The portfolio includes both fast-start production projects and later large-scale industrial investments.
LANGUAGE SKILLS A reasonable level of working English is essential. French language skills are a major advantage.

EMPLOYMENT AND LOCATION
Employment form, work location and travel requirements will be defined role by role. Some positions may begin in Finland or elsewhere in Europe, but several key roles will require significant presence in Côte dIvoire during implementation phases.
