BPM is seeking a Fiduciary Accounting Supervisor to join our growing Fiduciary Accounting Services (FAS) practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced fiduciary accounting professional who enjoys client service, technical work, and team leadership while expanding their management skills.

The Supervisor will play an important role in managing client engagements, reviewing staff work, mentoring team members, and supporting the continued growth of the practice. This position offers significant client interaction and exposure to complex trust and estate matters.

Note: Candidates located near a BPM office will follow a hybrid work model, with 2–3 days per week in the office.

What You'll Do:

Client Service & Technical Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review fiduciary accountings for trusts, estates, conservatorships, and guardianships.
  • Prepare trustee reports, supporting schedules, and related analyses.
  • Analyze trust documents and apply fiduciary accounting principles.
  • Work directly with trustees, beneficiaries, attorneys, family offices, and other advisors.
  • Assist with resolving accounting and administration issues.
  • Ensure engagements are completed accurately and timely while meeting firm quality standards.
  • Supervision & Team Development

    • Review work prepared by staff accountants and senior accountants.
    • Provide coaching, feedback, and technical guidance to team members.
    • Coordinate workflow and monitor engagement deadlines.
    • Collaborate with team members located in both the U.S. and India.
    • Support training initiatives and process improvements.
    • Practice Support

      • Assist with developing client relationships and delivering exceptional service.
      • Participate in networking and professional development opportunities.
      • Identify opportunities to improve engagement efficiency and client experience.
      • Support practice growth initiatives as opportunities arise.

Qualifications:

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of fiduciary accounting, trust administration, estate administration, or related experience.
  • Experience preparing fiduciary accountings and supporting schedules.
  • Strong technical accounting and analytical skills.
  • Experience reviewing work and mentoring staff.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Preferred

    • CPA designation, or progress toward obtaining CPA certification.
    • Experience with California fiduciary accountings and California Probate Code requirements.
    • Public accounting, trust company, family office, or professional services experience.
    • Experience working with remote or offshore teams.
    • Interest in developing leadership and practice management skills.
