Field Application Engineer (FAE) – Video applications in Automotive and Surveillance/Security markets

◆Role Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and technically versatile Field Application Engineer (FAE) with at least 3 years of professional experience to provide front-line technical support for our growing customer base in India. This role focuses on Automotive and Surveillance/Security IC applications, and hands-on experience with video-related technologies or applications is required. We welcome Indian nationals residing in Taiwan and willing to travel to India regularly based on business needs.
In addition to technical support, candidates who possess a commercial mindset and are interested in exploring Business Development / Sales opportunities to drive design-wins in the India market are strongly preferred.

◆Key Responsibilities
【Technical Support & Integration】
Provide front-line technical support, debugging, and troubleshooting for clients in India across the Automotive and Surveillance sectors. Particularly for video-related IC applications and system-level issues.

【Design-In & Specification Review】
Conduct chip benchmarking and assist clients with pre-sales evaluation and post-sales implementation

【Customer Enablement】
Deliver technical workshops, reference design reviews, and system bring-up support for clients

【Cross-Border Bridge】
Act as the technical liaison between clients/distributors in India and our R&D/HQ teams

【Sales & Business Development】-Optional / Hybrid Advantage
Identify potential leads, manage key client relationships (OEMs/ODMs), and drive commercial design-wins alongside HQ sales teams

◆Requirements & Qualifications
【Experience】
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in semiconductor FAE, systems engineering, AE, or technical support roles within the electronics/semiconductor industry, with hands-on experience in video-related applications, systems, or technologies required.

【Background & Location】
Professional currently based in Taiwan and willing to travel to India regularly based on business needs, prior work experience in/with the Indian market or managing Indian accounts/clients.

【Education】
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Optoelectronics, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related technical field

◆Technical Domain Expertise
-Hands-on experience and solid understanding of video processing architectures and video transmission interfaces is required.
-Understanding of surveillance architectures or automotive features is a plus.
-(Preferred)Commercial Interest
Openness or strong interest in taking on business development/sales initiatives to expand market share in India.

◆Language Skills
-Professional proficiency in English
-Knowledge of Hindi or regional Indian languages is strongly preferred (or native fluency for Indian nationals)
-Chinese language proficiency is a plus
