Teradyne is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Field Application Engineer (FAE) Intern who is passionate about software development, semiconductor testing, and automation technologies.
As an intern, you will work alongside experienced Field Application Engineers to gain hands-on experience with semiconductor test solutions, customer applications, and software development projects. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to learn industry-leading test technologies while developing both technical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Field Application Engineers in developing and maintaining IC test programs on Teradyne test platforms.
• Support software tool development and automation projects.
• Learn semiconductor test methodologies, debugging techniques, and product applications.
• Assist with test program development, validation, and troubleshooting activities.
• Support customer projects and application engineering tasks under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Help analyze test data and investigate software or hardware-related issues.
• Participate in product evaluations, technical demonstrations, and internal engineering projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support customer requirements and engineering initiatives.
• Prepare technical documentation, project reports, and presentations as needed.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in:

o Electrical Engineering
o Electronics Engineering
o Computer Science
o Computer Engineering
o Related Engineering disciplines

• Basic programming knowledge in C#, C/C++, Python, or other programming languages.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Interest in semiconductor testing, automation, and software development.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Basic English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with academic programming projects, laboratory work, or engineering coursework.
• Familiarity with object-oriented programming concepts.
• Understanding of semiconductor devices, electronics, or test engineering concepts.
• Exposure to Python, C#, AI, machine learning, data analysis, or automation tools.
• Participation in research projects, engineering competitions, internships, or student technical organizations.
