Summary
The Field Deployment Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing customer deployment projects from initial kickoff through final acceptance. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, installation partners, and internal teams, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to customer expectations.
This role combines project management, customer engagement, field operations, and technical coordination. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working in dynamic environments while managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Lead deployment projects through the full project lifecycle, including planning, scheduling, execution, installation, commissioning, and customer handoff.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and deployment documentation.
- Serve as the primary customer-facing project lead throughout deployment activities.
- Coordinate activities across Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Service, and external installation partners.
- Manage project risks, identify potential obstacles, and implement mitigation plans to ensure successful project execution.
- Support onsite installation and deployment activities and provide leadership during critical project milestones.
- Facilitate project meetings, status reviews, and post-deployment lessons learned sessions.
- Monitor project costs and ensure projects remain within approved budgets.
- Track project deliverables and maintain accurate records of installation progress, customer feedback, and action items.
- Work closely with technical teams to resolve field issues and support successful system acceptance.
- Assist in developing and improving deployment processes, tools, and best practices.
- Support domestic and international customer deployments as required.
