Field Engineer – Device Rollout Christchurch | Hands-on Hardware | Microsoft Environment

Hourly rate contract till 23rd December 2026 with potential for extension

Love being hands-on with tech? We’re looking for a Field Engineer to hit the ground running on a device rollout across Christchurch.

This isn’t a desk-bound support role. You’ll be out in the field, deploying, configuring and managing end-user devices, troubleshooting issues and making sure users are up and running with minimal disruption.

What you’ll be doing

• Hands-on laptop, desktop and device rollouts
• Building, configuring, deploying and replacing hardware
• Supporting devices across Azure, Active Directory and Microsoft 365
• Troubleshooting hardware, software and user issues
• Managing devices and keeping asset/deployment records up to date
• Providing great face-to-face support to end users
• Travelling between Christchurch sites as required

What you’ll bring

• Proven Field Engineer, Desktop Support or Deployment experience
• Strong hands-on hardware rollout experience
• Solid knowledge of Azure, Active Directory and MS365
• Confident Windows and end-user device support skills
• A practical, get-it-done approach and strong communication skills
• Full Class 1 NZ driver license – essential
