Field Engineer: Industrial Automation & AR Solutions

Niri Performance is seeking an Application & Field Engineer to join our Distribution Team in Italy. You will work hands-on with Augmented Reality systems applied to industrial environments, installing, configuring, and maintaining advanced equipment at customer sites.

The role emphasizes customer interaction, problem-solving, and independent work with occasional travel. Apprenticeship onboarding supports growth in PLCs, HMIs, and automation knowledge within a dynamic team.

Analyze and define applications; install, configure, and maintain equipment at customer sites. Perform maintenance and upgrades to ensure system efficiency. Troubleshoot technical issues to minimize downtime. Collaborate with internal teams and customers for improvements. Provide customer training on system usage and best practices. Document installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting for records. Stay updated on industry trends and innovations. 1-5 years professional experience in applications/field roles. Focus on customer satisfaction and technical-commercial activities. Strong problem-solving and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and teams. Willingness to learn independently or with guidance. Ability to travel to customer sites within Italy. Basic knowledge of industrial automation (PLCs, HMIs) and reading schematics.
