Field Engineer

Location: Horsham (Hybrid)
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 DOE

Our client, a growing managed print and technology solutions provider, is looking for a Field Engineer to join their team.

This is a varied role combining field based copier/MFD engineering with IT support and Pre-Delivery Inspection work, you'll be installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting multi functional print devices and connected office tech, as well as building and configuring equipment before it goes out to customers.

What you'll be doing:

* Installing, servicing, and repairing MFDs, photocopiers, scanners, and related office technology
* Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, software, and connectivity faults
* Configuring devices for networked environments (TCP/IP, print drivers, scan-to-email, cloud/document management)
* Supporting integration with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and secure print solutions
* Running full pre-delivery inspections, building, configuring, and quality-checking equipment before deployment
* Working to SLAs and keeping accurate service records

What they're looking for:

* Previous experience as a photocopier, printer, or field service engineer
* Solid grasp of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi)
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
* Good communicator, comfortable working independently
* Full UK driving licence

Nice to have:

* Experience with managed print solutions
* Microsoft 365 knowledge
* Manufacturer accreditation's (Ricoh, Sharp, Konica Minolta, Canon, Kyocera, Xerox, HP, Epson)

Hybrid role, field-based with regular time at the office and customer sites.
