Field Engineer -Transmission Line
Position: Field Engineer (Transmission Line-I)
Project: Independent Engineer – "Establishment of 765/400/220 kV AIS Pune East"
Client: Maharashtra State Transmission Utility (MSTU)
Location: Pune East, Maharashtra
Duration: 22 Months
Role Overview:
Support the Independent Engineer function through on-site monitoring, quality assurance, and technical supervision of transmission line construction, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and inspect transmission line construction/erection activities.
- Verify contractor's work against approved drawings and specifications.
- Ensure QA/QC compliance and safety adherence at site.
- Coordinate with contractor, client, and internal project team.
- Report deviations/non-conformances and track corrective actions.
- Maintain site documentation and progress reports.
- Support material inspection, testing, and commissioning.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience in transmission line construction/supervision (765kV/400kV/220kV preferred).
- Familiarity with Independent Engineer (IE) monitoring functions.
