Field Inspection Support Technician

This is a field-based position that involves driving to job sites, coordinating with city inspectors, providing access to equipment when needed, setting up ladders, and remaining on-site while inspections are completed. In addition, you can obtain Permits from the City Buildings.
- Drive to residential job sites throughout the assigned service area
- Arrive on time and be prepared before the city inspector arrives
- Wait on-site for city inspectors, which may sometimes involve extended wait times
- Safely transport, carry, set up, and take down extension ladders
- Provide inspectors with safe access to attics, rooftops, HVAC equipment, electrical panels, water heaters, and other areas as required
- Assist with basic access needs at the property
- Communicate professionally with city inspectors, homeowners, contractors, and our office team
- Understand and follow basic instructions related to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, and building inspections
- Use a smartphone and company applications to receive assignments, review job information, upload photos, add notes, and provide real-time updates
- Take clear photos of equipment, permits, inspection results, correction notices, and job-site conditions
- Immediately communicate inspection results or issues to the office
- Keep ladders and other assigned equipment organized and in good condition
- Follow all company and job-site safety procedures
