Pay Grade(s): 10-11 ($33.62 - 36.98+ DOE)
Purpose: The Field Installation Technician will support Tidal Network customers by installing equipment, running cable, mounting hardware, and providing basic training on using home internet services. This includes field installation, customer support in person and by phone, and occasional troubleshooting of home networks.
Essential Functions. An individual in this role must be able to perform the following functions with or without reasonable accommodation:
· Install and configure customer premises equipment (CPE), including running cable, mounting antennas, and modifying residential and commercial structures as needed.
· Safely operate ladders, power tools, company vehicles, and other construction equipment to complete installations.
· Perform site surveys and document installation details
· Provide customers with a walk-through of their new service and answer basic usage questions
· Trouble shoot and respond to inquiries via phone, email, in-person, or through remote access
· Record events, problems, and their solutions
· Perform routine user account administration
· Maintain accurate records of installations, inventory, equipment, and customer interactions
· Follow and contribute to installation guides and support documentation
· Perform site assessments and install Starlink satellite internet systems at residential, commercial, and community locations.
· Other duties as assigned
