Field Installer & Cabler
Redfox is on the lookout for Field Technicians & Cablers to join our busy team.
If you love the outdoors, enjoy heights and have cabling experience, then this role is for you. Or if you have experience performing Foxtel/NBN installations, then this role would be an easy transition.
Currently, we have a high demand for our services and are seeking field workers to join our close knit team. We are looking for an immediate start casual with an opportunity to secure a full time position.
We are happy to provide additional training to the right candidate.
Duties for the role will include the following:
Onsite installation and repair of customer equipment including mounting equipment on roofs, running cable through roof cavities, and terminating cables.
Installation and maintenance work on Redfox’s internet infrastructure, which includes climbing communication towers using an ascent line and/or mobile plant.
Work as part of a team to install and align microwave links.
Installation and maintenance of security cameras.
Adhere to safe working practices.
Perform site surveys and assist remote technicians with troubleshooting steps.

ACMA Open Cabler Licence
Working at Heights
Construction White Card
Manual Drivers Licence
Experience working in a trade or as a labourer
High level of client and co-worker interaction and communication
Preferred but not required
Security Licence
