Field Merchandiser - GTA

Position Summary:Reporting into the Regional Sales Manager, we are currently seeking full-time merchandiser (Remote) to represent Organigram brands in retail cannabis locations in Toronto – GTA. The main objective of this position is to increase brand awareness and staff education with both retail staff & end consumers, through education sessions, customer and public events as well as submitting feedback into the internal Organigram team. This role will work closely with the National and Key Account Managers to prioritize high traffic retail for activations as well as meet key objectives within each region. Key Responsibilities:Learn and become a product expert on the Organigram portfolio of brands (through scheduled training sessions and ongoing learning)Conduct in-store consumer intercepts (pop ups) at peak hours.Conduct budtender education sessions based off provincial KPIs.Answer product related questions from budtenders and consumersEngage with consumers at retail and submit feedback (Organigram brands and competitive LPs) to the Ontario teamWork with National Account Manager & Trade Marketing to organize provincially run events across the regionDevelop relationships & grow business at private retailWeekly Competitive activity trackingFollow provincial guidelines while working with all retail locationsUtilize CRM software to keep accurate records for contact management & route planningWork independently while covering large geographical area (Toronto-GTA) Skills & Qualifications:Based in the Toronto-GTAPrevious experience in customer service and/or as a brand ambassador (or similar role)Knowledge of cannabis market and trends considered an asset as well as knowledge of sales and marketing principlesStrong customer service and interpersonal communication skillsPunctual and able to follow a route plan/store scheduleFlexible work hours with weekends/evenings sometimes requiredMust be 19 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license, and vehicle required (travel across GTA)
