Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Field Safety Coordinator to support commercial construction safety operations and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, site-specific safety plans, and company safety policies.
This is a 100% on-site, field-based position requiring daily presence on active construction jobsites. A strong field presence is essential to provide real-time safety oversight, conduct inspections, lead training, and support continuous improvement across all phases of construction.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $85,000 – $100,000 per year, based on experience and fit

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor daily commercial construction jobsite activities to ensure compliance with OSHA standards, safety regulations, and company policies
- Conduct routine jobsite safety inspections, audits, hazard assessments, and risk evaluations
- Identify unsafe conditions and behaviors; recommend, implement, and track corrective actions
- Support Superintendents, Foremen, and field crews in developing safety-conscious work practices
- Assist with pre-task planning, Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), and Site-Specific Safety Plans (SSSPs)
- Respond to incidents, near misses, and injuries; coordinate injury care per company protocols
- Participate in and support incident investigations and root cause analysis
- Lead and assist with toolbox talks, safety orientations, onboarding, and site-specific safety training
- Ensure proper availability, use, and condition of PPE, safety equipment, and first aid supplies
- Participate in jobsite safety walks with internal teams, subcontractors, and external partners
- Serve as a field resource for OSHA compliance, regulatory requirements, and company safety programs
- Maintain accurate documentation including inspection reports, incident reports, training records, permits, and corrective action logs
- Collaborate with the HSE Manager and Safety Director to support continuous improvement initiatives
