Field Sales Executive - Ahmedabad
Field Sales Executive for a decorative panels brand is the
primary link between the company and the external market. Unlike the showroom
in-charge who manages walk-ins, the field person is "on the go,"
actively creating demand by visiting construction sites, architectural firms,
and retail dealers.
Key Field Responsibilities
· Influencer Management: Identifies and meets with architects, interior designers, and contractors to get the brand’s panels (laminates, PVC, veneers) specified in their project Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
· Channel Development: Visits retail dealers and distributors daily to ensure product catalogs are displayed, stock is replenished, and new sub-dealers are on boarded.
· Site Inspections & Demos: Conducts on-site technical demonstrations to show how the panels are installed and their durability.
· Market Intelligence: Performs regular "area audits" to track competitor pricing, new product launches, and emerging design trends.
· Lead Generation & Conversion: Identifies new residential or commercial projects in the assigned territory and follows the sales cycle from the first inquiry to final payment collection.
Essential Field Skills
· High Mobility: Must possess a valid driving license and a two-wheeler, as the role involves visiting 6–10 sites or clients per day.
· Relationship Building: Ability to establish quick rapport with strangers, ranging from high-profile architects to site supervisors.
· Technical Sales Knowledge: Deep understanding of material properties (e.g., MDF, ACP, Louvers) to answer technical queries on-site.
· Digital Reporting: Proficiency in using mobile CRM tools to log daily visits, mark attendance via Geolocation, and submit real-time sales reports.
