Summary

On-site engineer installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Bently Nevada vibration monitoring systems and sensors for industrial clients in Singapore’s energy sector.

Location: Singapore (Onshore Field Operations)
Employment Type: 12-Month Contract (Renewable)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday
Salary: Up to SGD 4,800 + Overtime

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, commission and maintain Bently Nevada vibration monitoring systems and sensors.

  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to vibration monitoring, machinery protection and data acquisition systems.

  • Perform preventive maintenance, system health checks, calibration and equipment replacement when required.

  • Configure Bently Nevada System 1 software and support system integration with DCS/SCADA.

  • Carry out testing and ensure systems are operating reliably before handover.

  • Provide on-site technical support and basic system training to customers.

  • Prepare service reports and maintain accurate documentation.

  • Work closely with customers and internal teams to deliver quality service while following safety standards.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control Systems or a related engineering discipline.

  • 2–4 years of experience in field service, installation, commissioning, maintenance or troubleshooting.

  • Experience in the Oil & Gas industry is highly preferred.

  • Knowledge of instrumentation, control systems, networking and industrial IT.

  • Familiar with DCS, SCADA, OPC software and system integration.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Good communication skills and ability to work independently at customer sites.

  • Comfortable working in industrial environments such as Jurong Island, shipyards, power plants and Bukom Island.
