This Position reports to:

Local Division Manager

Your role and responsibilities:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work of medium to high complexity as per work instructions and ABB guidelines. Each day, you will deliver great customer service to satisfy customers. You will also showcase your skills by working with customers to identify opportunities in the installed base, to improve system performance and operational performance.

The work model for the role is: #LI - Onsite.

This role is contributing to the Automation – Marine & Ports division in Bangalore/Mumbai- India Region. Main stakeholders are Marine & Ports Operations and Maintenance Teams responsible for drive systems, automation services, commissioning, and asset reliability.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Contributing to customer satisfaction by planning and executing service work as per customer order and expectations.

• Ensuring customer retention by delivering a positive customer experience and effectively communicating service work timeline and expectations.

• Taking actions to identify new service business opportunities for ABB, in close cooperation with customer and other ABB teams.

• Coaching technicians and engineers and supervising complex site activities.

Qualifications for the role:

• You enjoy working with commissioning and maintenance activities in the Marine & Ports market.

• You have 8 to 10 years of experience in drives or industrial automation service engineering.

• You possess extensive knowledge of ABB drives / VFD drives or industrial automation.

• Experience of ACS6000, LV/MV switchboard/ VFD Service ABB products installation & commissioning will be added advantage.

• You are interested in customer management and stakeholder management.

• Engineering Degree B.E/BTech- EEC, Electrical, Electronics or Diploma in engineering in any specialization is required.

• You are comfortable communicating in English, both verbally and in writing.
